Tepfer, seconded by Mr. Weiskittel that the contract agreement between Geneva City School District and Daniel
Howard, Trainer/Consultant, to provide crisis team training, handling
the disruptive child in the classroom and functional behavior assessments, in
response to Focused Group Review findings, effective May 1, 2007 through July
1, 2008, at a cost of $32.50 per hour, $500 per ˝ day presentations, maximum
expenditure of $5,000, grant funded, be approved.
That the contract between Geneva City School District and The Children's Institute, a grant evaluation agency for the 21st Century program, effective November 14, 2006 through August 31, 2007, for a total cost of $14,649.60, grant funded be approved
That the contract between Geneva City School District and Eric Miller, Intern with Buildings & Grounds, effective June 27, 2007 through August 15, 2007, at a rate of $15.00 per hour, not to exceed $5,000, General fund, be approved.
That the contract between Geneva City School District and Jeffrey Moore, Intern with Buildings & Grounds, effective June 27, 2007 through August 15, 2007, at a rate of $15.00 per hour, not to exceed $5,000, General fund, be approved.
That the execution of contract for Health and Wellness services with Honeoye Central School District for children residing in above school district and attending nonpublic school in the Geneva City School District beginning July 1, 2006 and ending June 30, 2007, be approved.

This is due to a change in services for students with disabilities, IDEA grant funded.
3. Meghan Finnerty, to a three-year probationary appointment in the tenure area of Teaching Assistant, assigned to North Street School, 10 months, effective September 1, 2007 through August 31, 2010, at salary Line G, Step 5 of the CSEA Agreement. That the Board of Education accept, with genuine
regret, the retirement requests of:
1. Donna Rhinevault,
Teacher Aide, North Street School, 7.00 hours per day, 10 months, effective
July 31, 2007, after 14 years and 5 months of service
2. Beryl Teague, Registered Professional Nurse,
The Board and administrators extend to Donna
Rhinevault and Beryl Teague their deep appreciation for the years of
faithful service rendered to this District and their best wishes for good
health and happiness throughout their retirement years. The Board offers the following resolution:
WHEREAS,
Donna Rhinevault and Beryl Teague have served the children of the Geneva
City Schools with distinction for many years, and discharged their duties in an
outstanding and highly professional manner, giving unselfishly of their time
and efforts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of
Education of the Geneva City School District, accepts with deep regret the
retirement requests of Donna Rhinevault and Beryl Teague and records in
the minutes of this meeting this expression of the Board’s deep appreciation of
their devoted service, as well as its sensitivity to the loss from the staff of
these trusted and valued employees,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the clerk of the
board be and hereby instructed to transmit to Donna Rhinevault and Beryl
Teague a copy of this expression of the Board’s gratitude.
