                    Paul Darnall, Asst. Superintendent for Curriculum/Instruction

 

                   

The meeting was called to order by President, Mitchell Wilber, at 11:35 a.m.

 

Superintendent Robert C. Young led all present in the salute to the flag.

 

Moved by Mr. Scherer, seconded by Ms. Wooster that the following resolutions casting district vote for election of candidates to the BOCES Board be accepted:

Seat #1

RESOLVED that the Board of Education of the Geneva City School District at its April 23, 2008 meeting cast one vote for Stuart Einstein to a seat on the Wayne-Finger Lakes Board of Cooperative Educational Services Board for a three-year term effective July 1, 2008.

 

Seat #2

RESOLVED that the Board of Education of the Geneva City School District at its April 23, 2008 meeting cast one vote for Nancy Scher to a seat on the Wayne-Finger Lakes Board of Cooperative Educational Services Board for a three-year term effective July 1, 2008.

 

Seat #3

RESOLVED that the Board of Education of the Geneva City School District at its April 23, 2008 meeting cast one vote for Anna Morgan to a seat on the Wayne-Finger Lakes Board of Cooperative Educational Services Board for a three-year term effective July 1, 2008.

Absent:     1 (Mrs. Guard)

Motion was carried.

 

          Moved by Mr. Norbert, seconded by Mr. Scherer that the following resolution to vote on the BOCES 2008-2009 tentative administrative budget be accepted:

 

          RESOLVED that the Board of Education of the Geneva City School District at its April 23, 2008 meeting has voted for approval of the 2008-2009 tentative administrative budget (part 1) of the Wayne-Finger Lakes Board of Cooperative Educational Services in the amount of $2,924,734.

Motion was carried.      

 

          Moved by Dr. Tepfer, seconded by Mr. Weiskittel that the meeting be adjourned to the call of the chair at 11:40 a.m.
